Eight Walks
A daily performative walk along the eight sites
Eight Assemblage Boards were placed in and around King’s Cross. From March 1st through March 8th, Almut Rink was working at and around them, one day at each one respectively.
During the same period, Ursula Reisenberger lead a series of walks, passing through all eight locations. Each participant equipped with an earpiece, a group of up to 20 people were moving through the city, listening to a cluster of texts with one ear and to the sounds of their environment with the other.
The walks provided an opportunity to interact with the Boards, the city and each other. Starting at different hours every day, each walk offered a different experience. At one moment of the day, the artist working at the Board and the participants of the walk converged.
